Læs med her.
Hi Bas. Thank you for your time. What is the main focus for you and the swimmers in Phuket?
“The main focus is to go on as well as possible in the same way, just like they are used to. To prepare them in the best possible way for the Danish Open without any big changes. Work a lot and hard!”
How will the daily schedule look?
“Two pool workouts a day and two dryland workouts a day. Pool early in the morning and in the afternoon, dry midday and just before the afternoon pool workout.”
Will there be any difference in the programs related to different types of swimmers?
“Of course all workouts will be prepared for all kinds of swimmers. They all have their own specialty in stroke and distance.”
Are you going to do something else other than train, eat and sleep? :)
“I hope so. If not, it will be very boring and the training camp will lose a lot of its total effect. We always try to organize some excursions, city visits etc. once in a while, but of course at the right moment (training, sleep, rest, recovery).”
